I've been on quite a few different compact minis and the Bobcat E26 is pretty decent for its size. Used it on some trenching jobs lately. The bucket breakout force feels pretty solid, not everything but enough for what this class can do. Digging depth is alright for most work I do - not breaking any limits but gets the trenches done. The controls are smooth, but I wish the hydro lines weren't so exposed, just worry about banging them up on brush. The sealed cab version is good during the summer, AC actually seems to work okay, but the pressurization isn't perfect - still gets a little dusty. Service side of things is manageable, random parts are not always in stock but that's not just a Bobcat thing. Not the cheapest to rent compared to other minis this size, but nothing too wild either. For my usual small jobs, it gets the job done just fine.
