Purpose of use : Powder coating curing
Maximum temperature : 220ºC
The furnace heating system is designed as forced convection system. It is based on the principle of pumping the oven volume air into the oven with the help of a circulation fan and increasing the oven temperature with the heat transfer provided by the air passing through the heating unit.
The walls of the furnace and heating unit are made of modular sheet metal and high density insulated panels. Air distribution ducts with regulated flaps inside the oven ensure that the oven temperature is homogenous at every point. The temperature control device is digital type and provides precise adjustment of the oven temperature.
The heating unit is placed on the side, rear or top of the oven and consists of an insulated heating chamber, heating cell with resistance inside, circulation fan that can operate at 250ºC and maintenance cover.
Material of outer surface : 1mm Carbon steel sheet metal, externally powder coated
Material of inner surface : 1mm Galvanized steel sheet metal, non-coated
Insulation thickness : 150 mm
Insulation : Ground – 50mm of Rock wool (50 kg/m³)
Side and top panels – 150mm of Rock wool (50 kg/m³)
Heat transfer : Convection, by closed air circuit
Heating Type : Direct heating with electrical heaters
Temperature control : On/Off, 0-400ºC Digital thermostat, Fe-Const (J-type) thermo-couple
Ambient temperature : +10ºC (while working)
Oven uniformity : ±2,5ºC (5ºC in total)
Control accuracy : ±1ºC
Heat-up time : 25-30 min (empty oven)
Oven door : Manual, Hinged type, from one side
Loading/Unloading : Hand pushed from shop floor into the oven

CONTROL PANEL AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
The electrical control cabinet is mounted externally on the side wall of the oven and is internally wired from the motors and heating system to the cabinet. The control panel consists of SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC switchgear components.
